Tom Sax founder and President of SBG, has been earning the trust of his clients for over 33 years. Tom Sax - President
Tom has over 34 years experience in the employee benefits field. He spent 3 years as a group representative for Aetna, specializing in Life, AD&D, LTD, Medical and Dental sales and account management. His long career with the Epoch Group included 30 years as a consultant, broker, underwriter and senior manager with the last 16 years as President. In Addition, Tom has served on the executive advisory board from numerous Organizations, reinsurance carriers, data and medical management firms.
Underwriting Assistance
Tom Sax has worked with Emerson Electric for over 29 years in an underwriting and consulting capacity. That role includes establishing annual employee and employer theoretical rates, review of financial impact of benefit changes and cost containment initiatives. SBG also currently provides full underwriting and financial benefits to Laclede Gas and LaBarge Inc. Laclede Gas recently completed a significant round of negotiations with its main union and SBG provided all of the benefit and financial information the Labor Relations Team needed to complete a successful negotiation with the union.
