Sax Benefits Group will work closely with our clients to develop annual cost projections, employee and retiree contribution levels and COBRA rates for their health plans. SBG would analyze the claim data, eligibility, health trend factors and vendor fees to develop annual cost projections. SBG can also provide plan design recommendations, and the financial effect associated with the benefit changes. We can also be available for assistance with the benefit design and financial projections in connection with union negotiations.
Tom Sax has worked with Emerson Electric for over 29 years in an underwriting and consulting capacity. That role includes establishing annual employee and employer theoretical rates, review of financial impact of benefit changes and cost containment initiatives. SBG also currently provides full underwriting and financial benefits to Laclede Gas and LaBarge Inc. Laclede Gas recently completed a significant round of negotiations with its main union and SBG provided all of the benefit and financial information the Labor Relations Team needed to complete a successful negotiation with the union.
